Batman Inspires Creativity!

One general theme here at the Bat-Blog is sharing photos that feature creativity that has been inspired by the Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight. We have shown birthday cake decorating, crafts, tattoo art, paintings, drawing, etc... Well, here are two new examples:



The first pic is of a Motorcycle Gas Tank with some amazing airbrush art. The Artist did a really good job on this. Then, somebody got the idea of using a real-life cat as a Batman Mask... too funny!

New CLASSIC 1966 BATMAN TV Series Merchandise Spotted at JC Penneys!

Hey, here's some great news for fans of the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series! Frank, a friend of ours over at our Bat-Blog FACEBOOK Page, just spotted this totally brand-new '66 BATMAN Sweatshirt that they're selling at J. C. Penney's stores. It features the dynamic duo climbing a wall and also has the TV Show Logo, AWESOME!! ( Thanks Frank ).

GOOFY BATMAN NEWS - Buster gets a New Batmobile!!

WOW! It looks like our super-good crime-fighting buddy, BUSTER THE BAT-HOUND, just got a brand-new Batmobile Car!!



This is a major upgrade from his previous Batmobile, which you can see by clicking RIGHT HERE!

New Michael Keaton 1989 BATMAN MOVIE WALLPAPERS by Scoot Comics!

Our good buddy, Scott McMahan, just sent us a super-cool BATMAN WALLPAPER graphic he wanted us to share. The one he sent is the "oval circle" one in the middle. I usually like to feature more than one when I do a post so, using his artwork, I made the other two as super-wacky variations.

Andrew's THE JOKER Batman Graduation Cake!

OK, the BAT-BLOG is pretty famous for sharing photos of fun Batman-themed Birthday Cakes. We have even featured Wedding Cakes too but I don't think we have ever had one like this! These pics were sent in to us by a fan named Andrew. He recently graduated from college and his Girlfriend made him this incredible "Joker Graduation Cake" that has an amazing BATMAN / JOKER theme. 



The pics of the cake are awesome and we have also included a picture of the invitations they sent out which featured some original art by an Artist named Adam Hicks.

Thanks for sharing this Andrew and, "Congratulations!!", not just on graduating from school, but also on having such a cool girlfriend, ha!

STARRING ADAM WEST - Batman Fan Movie Showing in Napa Valley Film Festival NOV 13-17

This post is mainly a shout-out to any Bat-Blog readers who might live near Napa Valley. In about a week or so the completely wonderful STARRING ADAM WEST Documentary Film will make an appearance at the Napa Valley Film Festival on November 13th through the 17th, 2013.

Oh yeah, here's the video for the Kickstarter page where they raised the money to make the film. And as a side-note, Adam West finally got his STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  

PAUL IS MR. FREEZE - COSPLAY Batman: The Animated Series

OK, here's some extremely serious cosplay!! here's a pic I randomly came across the other day on Facebook. This is a friend of ours named Paul Lombard who designed this incredible MR. FREEZE Costume. It's insanely cool! Of course, this is the version of Dr. Victor Fries from Batman: The Animated Series.

Chris Fischer's IRON BAT COWL - Batman & Ironman Hybrid Custom Mask

We just got news about a brand-new custom piece made by our Friend & Graphic Designer, Chris Fischer. It seems he has combined the idea of combining an Ironman Helmet with Batman-style. Thus, making it a "Battle Cowl" for the Dark Knight. Here's the prototype pic up above, check it out. WOW, it looks pretty cool!

BATMAN COSTUME Photos 1966 to 2013!

The tradition continues!! Check out this heartwarming set of photos sent in to us by a Bat-Blog Fan named Dave. He is shown in the 1960's on the right-side of the photo and his Grandson is on the left, keeping Batman alive! His grandson's pic was taken this last Halloween... 2013!! ( Thanks Dave, great pic! )
